Vortex generators are used in aircraft wings and wind turbine blades. These devices allow them to maintain a stable turbulent behavior the wake. generators, or VGs, improve transition from laminar boundary layer regime, avoiding abrupt shedding. HAWT turbines have high rotational velocity. Currently, being redesigned with fixed vortex achieving higher energy production.
